I have known Kevin Basconi since August 2002, and I am blessed to consider him a great Christian friend and an anointed co-laborer in the Kingdom of God. I believe God drew us together so quickly because we share the same consuming passion for Jesus Christ and for the advancement of His Kingdom. We found out that they were planning to come to Alberta in June, so we invited them to come to Lighthouse church. Kevin and Kathy stayed with us for about a week in our home, and we found them to be genuinely in love and in tune with Jesus. They were refreshing for us as pastors. Kevin ministers with grace and love. Many people were ministered to by the Lord in our congregation, in healing. Our congregation was encouraged to take healing outside the walls of the church. Kevin has a good testimony of salvation-- he came out of a background of drug addiction. While they were with us God set up a divine appointment with a young man who was an addict. After Kevin had an opportunity to share some of his story with him, the young man accepted Jesus into his life. I certainly recommend Kevin and Kathy as ministers who flow in the gifts and have an evangelistic heart. They are easy to love. Archie Binnie
Every time I have been with Kevin, the Spirit of God always seems to be very strong, and breaks into the lives of the people present. An extra ordinary time of ministry has always occurred, with prophetic words of encouragement, physical and emotional healing, and demonstrations of the Power of God being given through this servant. I have personally seen a man receive his hearing (an immigrant from Columbia at the Call-KC), others having skin conditions healed, others breaking into tears of repentance and awe at the glory of our God. He has a non threatening way that puts people at ease, and has a boldness that I often desire. I have asked Kevin to minister with me whenever he is available. I continue to hope he will join with me at pastors conferences and crusades I have been planning for both East Africa and on Indian reservations here in the US. I highly recommend the ministry of Kevin Basconi. I commissioned Kevin and ordained him into the ministry as a Fresh Fire Itinerant Minister after he traveled with us through out the world. I know his life and character. Kevin has honored Fresh Fire Ministries by serving us, and the gift of God is evident in his life. Following my mantle, he has begun to launch out into crusade evangelism in Africa and South America. He carries a mantle like that of T. L. Osborne.
Kevin and Kathy Basconi are committed believers and passionate servants who carry a spirit of revival and harvest within their hearts. Matthew 10:8 so describes their ministry, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."
My wife and I met Kevin Basconi during the Todd Bentley Explosion II Conference in Edmonton in January 2004. Since Kevin was one of Todd's interns, we had the opportunity to spend some time with him. During our conversations we found out that we had some friends in common on the east coast of Canada. Then when we were in Kansas City in April we divinely met Kevin again, and his wife Kathy.
I have personally known Kevin Basconi since last November as we ministered together in Jinja, Uganda during a five day Todd Bentley Crusade. Since that time, we have had opportunity to minister together on four other occasions, two of which were at home groups of 30-35 people through my home church in Lawrence, Kansas.
